Refrigeration case cleaning
Preventive maintenance is vital to keep your commercial refrigeration systems running well, and one of the most important types of preventive maintenance is refrigeration case cleaning.
Our Georgia, Southern California and Florida CoolSys teams believe strongly in the power of preventive maintenance. During our 21 years in the commercial refrigeration system installation, maintenance and optimization field, we’ve seen plenty of companies try to save money by skipping preventive maintenance on their systems. The problem with this is that we’ve seen these same companies have even more expensive problems crop up because they avoided preventive maintenance. One way you can reduce your business’s chances of having a costly problem with your refrigeration equipment is to call us to perform regular maintenance, such as refrigeration case cleaning, on your systems.
Steps we’ll take during our refrigeration case cleaning service
Our team at CoolSys knows refrigerated cases are the heart of convenience stores, grocery stores and supermarkets, and this is why we want to help you maintain your cases with our refrigeration case cleaning service.
During the course of a case cleaning appointment, our technicians will go through seven steps. The first step will be to turn off the cases they’ll be working on and disassemble the coil housing. Next, our technicians will check the case drains for clogs and blow out any drains that have been clogged. The third step they’ll take will be to deice your case and its components using hot water and a brush. By using these materials and not chemicals, there will be no chance any harmful chemicals will be left behind in your cases to contaminate the food stored in them.
Once your cases have been deiced, our technician will take the fourth step of checking the fan motors and blades in the cases and replace or repair any that have been damaged. They will then make a thorough check for leaks in the case they’re cleaning. They’ll also walk through your store and check for signs of leaks in all of your other refrigeration equipment to finish up the fifth step in the case cleaning process. Once the leak check is completed, our technicians will move on to the sixth step, which will be to restart the cleaned cases and verify that they are operating correctly. The seventh, and final, step in our case cleaning service will involve our technician documenting all services performed and outstanding issues found during the case cleaning. We also provide a verbal recap for a member of the store’s management team.
With this comprehensive preventive maintenance service, your refrigerated cases will be able to operate at maximum efficiency and will look clean for your customers. In addition to our refrigeration case cleaning service, CoolSys offers a variety of other helpful commercial refrigeration system services.
